I’m glad I know Jesus as Savior
Whose grace I stand redeemed
made a child of God forever
by truth of word and deed

when Christ gave His life for many
He nobly did God’s will
upon the cross of Calvary’s mound
where blood ran down its hill

the blood which flowed from all His wounds
ebbed life from perfect man
but God accepted this offering
to help man live again

precious is the blood of Jesus
no sin can stand its power
for broken is the curse on man
that moment in that hour

eternal life bought for a price
nothing else could succeed
in giving life Christ had to die
He died for you and me

all members of the human race
shall make a choice and die
as to the fate which waits for them
or endless perfect life

the blood makes all the difference
if one desires to live
no cost to you it’s there for free
for freely did He give
